The main structure of PTFE membrane
PTFE membrane is a microporous film produced by special processes such as pre mixing, extrusion, rolling, and biaxial stretching using polytetrafluoroethylene dispersed resin. It is divided into clothing membrane, PU micro waterproof membrane, filtration membrane, and purification membrane.
Main structure:
The surface morphology of PTFE microporous film has a spider web like microporous structure. Pores are formed between microfibers, and the arrangement direction of microfibers is basically parallel to the stretching direction; The connection of fiber bundles is called a node, which is formed by the entanglement and connection of many microfibers.
2. PTFE membrane belongs to asymmetric membrane, and there are differences in the size of micropores on the front and back of the membrane.
3. The cross-sectional pore size of the membrane is larger than the pore size on its surface, and there are also differences in the longitudinal and transverse pore sizes, with longitudinal pores being larger than transverse pores.
4. The cross-section of a membrane is a network structure with complex variations in the three-dimensional structure of pores, such as network connectivity, nested pores, and curved pores. Multiple micropores may form a channel, or one micropore may be connected to multiple channels.
