For organic lenses, the ideal surface system treatment should be a composite film consisting of anti-wear film, multi-layer anti reflection film, and top film anti fouling film. Usually, the wear-resistant film coating is the thickest, about 3-5mm, the thickness of the multi-layer anti reflection film is about 0.3mm, and the top anti fouling wax coating is the thinnest, about 0.005-0.01mm. Taking crizal, a composite film from the French company Essilo, as an example, a wear-resistant film with organic silicon is first coated on the substrate of the lens; Then, using IPC technology, ion bombardment is used for pre cleaning before plating the anti reflection film; After cleaning, use high hardness materials such as zirconia (ZrO2) for vacuum plating of multi-layer anti reflection film layers; Finally, apply a waterproof film with a contact angle of 110 degrees. The successful development of drilling crystal composite film technology indicates that the surface treatment technology of organic lenses has reached a new height.


The waterproof and dustproof film reduces the contact area between water, dust, and other dirt and the lens by 110 degrees, making it less likely to adhere to the surface of the lens. Therefore, the surface of the filter will be smoother, increasing its anti pollution functions such as waterproof, anti fog, dustproof, and anti fingerprint. It can be widely used on camera lenses, window frames for electronic digital products, touch screens, and other window products, as well as optical products such as dust-proof films. Usually, waterproof and dustproof films are used together with anti reflective films on window products, which can also increase the hardness of the lens surface and prevent scratches. Scratch resistance here is not 100% scratch resistance, it refers to the conventional small scratches that protect the window. This type of coating can also be used together with reflective film in car rearview mirror products.
